The number of books that "Search contents" looks in: the books ticked ✓ on the "Selected books" page, whether or not they are shown right now. To change it: open "Selected books" from the home page, then tap the circle beside a book to tick or untick it, or use All, None or Invert from the options button next to the "Search for a book" box; they act on the visible books.
